Contemporary Fine Art Gallery and Corporate Venue

Fifiefofum Fine Art

Having served us faithfully for nearly a decade, we feel that our quirky friend, Fifiefofum is no longer appropriate to our current endeavours to effectively promote fine art both inside and outside the north east..

We have therefore reverted to the original name of the site on which the gallery is situated - Westside. We have then given Westside a modern twist, adding Contemporary, so that the gallery is now known as Westside Contemporary..

CONTEMPORARY FINE ART including paintings, ceramics, glass, sculpture, jewellery, original and limited edition prints.

From the largest rural fine art gallery in the Northumberland, if not the North East of England.

With a unique and breathtaking view across the Tyne Valley.

Home to animal portrait painter and fine art curator Sue Moffitt, who's characterful and quirky COW and ANIMAL PAINTINGS and COW and ANIMAL PRINTS have gained international acclaim.

Including JEM LODGE, our scandinavian cabin venue built on the side of our 5 acre lake, which appears to float on the water and offers an inspiring alternative to traditional meeting venues.

"Sue Moffitt and her colleagues have a great set up there and the log burning stove provides a great setting in which to try out great chairs!"

"Art and About"

Art as an Investment

Unless you're very knowledgeable and wealthy you shouldn't buy art just as an investment, but because you want your life enriched. And as long as you're not missing a mortgage payment or going without food to pay for it, why deny youself the pleasure that a work of art can bring?

Buying a picture because it says something to you personally is the most important criterion to consider. Not how much you can sell it for in the future.

Above all, beware of being "SOLD" a work of art simply as a good investment.

MOFFSTUFF

Sue Moffitt's merchadise can now be purchased from www.moffstuff.com

Moffstuff is a new, UK made, designer range for the home and kitchen which really stands out from the crowd - or should that be herd?

Designed for fun, made for practicality and durability, artist and gallery owner Sue Moffitt's new "stuff" really puts a smile on your face. The designs, developed by Sue's husband Roy Sturgeon, are based on her portraits of cows, many of which come from the family's dairy herd and have proved to be an inspiration for Sue.
